  Meikle Barite #1A    

Bush Pocket (1225' Level)

 A 7x6x5cm plate of tan-colored calcite crystals with a 2.0x1.7x0.5cm glassy-golden barite crystal with a nice, castellated termination. Here is a nice close-up pic of the crystal. $30 Order Here
 
Meikle Barite Miniature, 5.5 x 4.0 x 3.5cm, $75   

A nice Bush Pocket miniature with lustrous golden barite crystals to 3.5cm. There are a few cleaved crystals at the base of 2 sides of the piece, but the central portion is undamaged and the barites show nice gemmy sections.

 Meikle Barite, Bush Pocket (1075' Level), 11 x 8 x 6cm, $400

A beautiful cabinet piece showing high-quality 5.5cm and 6.0cm castilated barite crystals aesthetically laying across one another. The bottom of the right crystal shows contacting, where it was removed from the surrounding pocket. This is mentioned for accuracy and does not affect the display of this showy specimen.   Order Here  
 
Meikle Calcite on Barite, 8.5 x 7.0 x 5.5cm, $450
   A very aesthetic cabinet specimen consisting of a large, mirror lustrous golden barite measuring 7.5x6.7x1.5cm which has been preferencially coated with a 2-4mm-thick layer of sparkling, 1-8mm white/gray calcite crystals. A high quality combination specimen like this is in the minority of what Meikle produces. Some less-than-typical internal fracturing can be seen in the gemmy barite crystal, but no obvious surface material is missing. Over all, this piece is in good shape and looks great in a mineral cabinet!     Order Here
